Kamsky, Chairman of the Board of Kamsky Associates, Inc., has been elected to the Foamex Board of Directors. The addition of Ms. Kamsky along with the election of Governor Raymond Mabus earlier this year adds two independent directors to the board, bringing the total number of directors to nine. Previously Ms. Kamsky served on the Board of Trustees of Princeton University and currently serves as a member of the University of Richmond Board of Trustees. A graduate of Princeton University, Ms. Kamsky began her career at Chase Manhattan Bank where she spent significant time in Japan, and then in the International Trade & Commodity Finance Department. She later assumed responsibility for the bank's Corporate Division in China. Foamex also announced that the next annual meeting of shareholders for the election of directors and other matters is scheduled for June 29, 2001.
