ANNUAL MEETING DATE AND LOCATION
LINWOOD, PA, April 12, 2004 –
Foamex International Inc. (NASDAQ: FMXI), the leading manufacturer of
flexible polyurethane and advanced polymer foam products in North America, today
announced that it will hold its Annual Meeting of stockholders on Tuesday, May 25,
2004. The meeting will be held at The Ritz-Carlton, Ten Avenue of the Arts, in
Philadelphia, PA at 10:00 a.m. ET. The Board of Directors has fixed April 15, 2004 as
the record date for determining stockholders entitled to notice of, and to vote at, the
Annual Meeting. A definitive proxy statement will be filed with the Securities and
Exchange Commission and mailed to the stockholders, along with the 2003 Annual Report,
on or about April 26, 2004.
