almost entirely from recycled carpet waste.
- Textile fiber carpet cushion is made from recycled
clothing and other post-consumer textile fibers.
- Bonded carpet cushion is made from the trim
generated by polyurethane fabrication facilities serving the furniture, bedding and other
industries. Post-consumer scrap from automotive recycling and carpet installations is also
recycled to make bonded carpet cushion.
- Prime polyurethane and rubber carpet cushion are
recyclable. Over 100 million pounds of polyurethane carpet cushion is recycled every year
and made into bonded carpet cushion.
